Making the Grade

Rowan undertakes extensive research to ensure the funds selected for clients have the potential to deliver the returns anticipated and required by each investment portfolio. The first stage in the research process is to screen all funds using Rowan’s proprietary fund screening tool. Our report ‘Making the Grade’ is a summary of the results from screening the three main UK sectors; UK All Companies, UK Equity Income and UK Smaller Companies. This screening system grades each fund on an ‘A-F’ basis, with ‘A’ being best. ‘Making the Grade’ is a condensed version of the ‘screens results’ and shows the grade each fund achieved based on three year data. For research purposes the screening system is run monthly, whilst our report ‘Making the Grade’ is published every six months.
